Measuring & Deductions
Always measure from the outside looking in when providing the lock side for your screen door and measure the lock height from the bottom of the door.
The final fabrication size provided to Screen Warehouse Australia will be the exact size for the ordered items. If you are measuring an existing door or window, please provide the measurements accurately to the millimetre. If measuring for a new opening, follow the measuring guide provided within the Product Builder and make the deduction accordingly.
If at any time you are unsure about the measuring/ordering process, please call our office at (02) 8385 4553, or use email or online chat to clarify.
Measurement Errors
Please read our measurements guide to ensure your item fits perfectly. Our products are customised to your specifications. You need to make your own deduction; if unsure, please contact us first. We are not responsible if provided measurements are incorrect, resulting in products being incorrectly sized.
Colour Selection
The door frame and grille colours demonstrated on the product pages may not be an exact representation of the powder-coated aluminium frame colours that you have. We employ the most widely used and accepted industry colour terms and samples. Our colours should match your existing ones to the closest possible level. But if you require a 100% match, we recommend you request a sample. Please note “Color Choice” remains the buyer’s responsibility.
Cut Down
If your product is too big to fit, we offer a cutting service. Prices see the table below:
| Item Name | Cost (AUD incl GST) per Item |
|---|---|
| Flyscreen Windows | $30 |
| Flyscreen Doors | $100 |
| Security Door (All Types) | $120 |
The customers will cover both-way shipping to ScreenWarehouse/back to customers. It is important to note that your product should be packed in the same way it was received to ensure it arrives safely at our factory. If the door does not arrive safely, the customer is responsible for damages.
Alternatively, you can notify us first and then drop off the item back at our factory.
Returns Policy
Screen Warehouse Australia offers custom-made security and screening products manufactured to your specific requirements. As such, we do not offer refunds for change of mind, incorrect colour selection, incorrect mesh selection, or incorrect frame size selection.
If your product is damaged in transit, we are responsible for the damage and will take the necessary steps to ensure you receive your product in perfect condition.
Order cancellation within 24 hours after purchase/order placement can be arranged via Office email: [email protected] or contact (02) 8385 4553.
Order Cancellation after 24 hours of original purchase time, a re-stocking fee for purchased materials (normally 50% of the product price) may be charged. However, if your order has already been manufactured, we cannot provide you with a refund.
Manufacturing Timeframe
The standard manufacturing timeframe is currently 3 – 14 working days from the date of purchase; this timeframe may be extended for the following reasons:
-
During peak periods
-
After promotional events
-
Supplier stock shortages
-
Delivery delays
Under any of these circumstances, Screen Warehouse Australia will contact the customer to advise of the delay and provide an estimated time of completion.
Nominated Pickup Dates
You can nominate a preferred pickup date when placing the order. We will do our best to fulfil your order before or on such a date. However, there is no guarantee that your order will be ready by the nominated date. Please contact the office and advise the date and only come to pick up when the order-ready notice is sent to you via email.
Screen Warehouse Australia will not be liable for any costs unless additional confirmation has been provided in writing by the office that your item will be ready by such a date.
Shipping, Risk, and Consumer Guarantees
8.1 Risk and Title: The risk in the goods passes to you upon dispatch from our warehouse. Legal title passes upon full payment being received by us.
8.2 Optional Complete Transit Protection: We offer optional “complete transit protection” at checkout. This is a service where, for a fee, we manage the entire process of claims for loss or damage during transit with our courier partners on your behalf and arrange replacements or refunds.
8.3 Consumer Guarantees Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL): Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL.
-
(a) Goods Not Received: If your order is lost in transit and does not arrive, this represents a major failure to receive the goods you purchased. Your remedy for this failure is against us as the seller. You are entitled to choose a replacement or a refund under the consumer guarantees.
-
(b) Goods Received Damaged: If your order arrives in a damaged condition, your ability to seek a remedy may involve a claim against the carrier. Where you have not purchased our optional transit protection, you are responsible for lodging and managing that claim directly with the delivery service. We will provide reasonable assistance, such as proof of dispatch documentation.
8.4 Your Responsibilities: You must inspect goods for visible damage at the time of delivery and note any concerns on the courier’s proof of delivery document. Failure to do so may complicate any subsequent damage claim.
Freight
Screen Warehouse Australia employs various shipping companies and couriers to deliver your orders. Once dispatched, a tracking number will be sent to your email; you will be able to use online tracking to monitor the delivery of your items. Your order number provided should be quoted when contacting us in case your freight has not arrived within the estimated timeframe (please take weekends and public holidays into consideration).
Please leave instructions (Authority to Leave in a safe place) for couriers in situations when you are not able to receive the order in person. Additional fees may be applied if more than one delivery is required. In case you miss your delivery, please contact the delivery company to rearrange the delivery or pickup.
